Exposing Goth Origins, Witch Culture, And Occult Symbolism
Exploring The Connection Between Gothic culture, the Occult, & Their Symbols

Hosea 4:6 "My people perish from lack of knowledge".
What Is With Gothic Chicks And Witches Wearing Crosses?: Firstly, most Gothic chicks ARE WITCHES. Secondly, I spent nearly ten plus years on my own terms, learning about Witches, the occult, and various indigenous pagan cultures. I am still learning more to this day, as it helps me expose them, and draw new connections in an investigative sense, that I previously was not able to draw. One thing I have noticed, when surfing Instagram, is that there's never been more pagan/wiccan/satanic models on the platform, and that a lot of these occult babes love to sport crosses on their walls, around their necks, and on their clothing. It's not uncommon for gothic clothes lines to produce outfits with crosses on them. Here is an example from an online Goth fashion retailer that sells lots of products with crosses on them(and satanic symbols as well): https://vampirefreaks.com/products/gothic-cross-fishnet-socks?_pos=6&_sid=56e1a5827&_ss=r It's very common. I backup everything that I say, so below I will be sharing some examples of real Wiccan babes(modern witches) who are sporting the cross. Goth's in general like to sport variations of the cross, but I notice that most of the time Goths ARE WITCHES, as I see a lot of them wearing the wiccan five pointed star. Here's a real example(click it to view it in a new window): https://pin.it/6KWo6iLum See the Wiccan five pointed star she's wearing around her neck? Anyway.. I decided to begin my quest to learn the hidden meaning and purpose behind these crosses that goths and witches seem to be obsessed with, and I have narrowed them down to the following titles: "ornate gothic filigree cross pendant", "rosy cross"(of the Rosicrucians[5]), "gothic crucifix cross", "victorian fleur-de-lis crucifix cross", etc. The Order Of The Golden Dawn also used a version of the Cross.[6] Here's a direct quote from one of my sources on that: "Golden Dawn made great use of the symbol of the cross and borrowed from Christian prayer
in the wording of its rituals"[6] The cross that's used in the thumbnail for this paragraph was generated using text to image AI technology, and it was told to make a "ornate gothic filigree cross pendant". Below this paragraph is another photo of the same model that I embedded at the top of this page, LuseryDark. In the photo, if you look closely or zoom in you can see the Wiccan five pointed star made out of what appears to be sticks, as well as an Egyptian Ankh("Key Of Lfe") I share this to illustrate and prove that there is a connection between witches, the occult, and symbols such as the cross, the Egyptian Ankh, the crescent moon, and even bats. If you look through more of her photos you'll see more bats, coffins, photo's in cemeteries, etc. Occult themes center around death and darkness, hints their practice of necromancy(talking to the dead)[See: Henbane(hyoscyamus niger), a plant which yields deadly fruit that's used by witches to talk to the dead(necromancy)]. I'll discuss the Rosicrucians and Golden Dawn more down the page, and expose how they are occult orders(secret societies)[cults], and how this proves the cross originates from occult societies[5][6], just as the "star of david" is not a Jewish symbol, it is an OCCULT SYMBOL.[x][x]
Academic Intel On The Origins And Symbolism Behind The Gothic/Wiccan Use Of Crosses: Various forms of the cross can represent various beliefs depending upon the culture in question, including those related to: spirituality, death, or rebellion against traditional religious symbols.[x][x][x] For many wearing the cross is a way to express their individuality, or affiliation with goth culture.[x] The cross is symbolic of: rebellion, transformation, and duality, in some occult circles.[x] For many it is a statement against established religious authority.[x] It can symbolize transformation, representing the intersection between life and death.[x] It's been tied to mystical traditions.[5][6] In medieval times, the cross was used as a talisman, and amulet, to supposedly protect against evil spirits(a lie).[x] Crosses are thought to evoke themes of death, mourning, and the occult.[x] Exorcist often use crosses in their practice, and the catholics turn it into a charm.[x] Rosicrucian references claim the symbols of the Rose, The Heart And The Cross as belonging to their society.[5] Long story short, in Rosicrucianism the Cross has nothing to do with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but rather has been turned into a series of symbolic beliefs that one is taught to worship(without them knowing it). It's a way of using the cross as any other idolic object(accursed object/symbol).[x] See Graven Images Exodus 20:4 "The Cross serves to array various symbols of the simple wisdom of the spirit. The heart consciousness on the one side is balanced with the head consciousness on the limb of the Cross, represented by the eye. The Dove of peace within the soul balances the serpent rising from below.[5] The source goes on to give even more details. The bottom line is the symbol of the cross has been turned into another graven image, and is now a weapon of the enemy used to herd. I've seen satanist wear it, and witches, as a deceptive warfare strategy. It garners trust but does not prove allegiance with Jesus, as anyone can WEAR A CROSS. O.G. observation, secret societies all revolve around the covert idolatry of these symbols.
Whats The Symbolism Behind The Color Black, And Bats?: Here are a few examples: Model: LuseryDark; Pose: In a cemetery, wearing Egyptian Ankh around her neck(occult symbol);, Model: LuseryDark; You can see the wiccan five pointed star on the wall behind her here Here's one that I want to use to illustrate hidden in plain sight occult symbolism: Instagram Mode: LuseryDark; See the bat in the background? Goth girls, and witches(which MOST of the time are the same girls), LOVE bat symbolism, and other dark forms of anesthetics(black). If you've thought to yourself: Whats with the fascination with black? Today is your lucky day! I'm here to answer that question for you once and for all. There's actually a branch of psychology called: "color psychology", which gives academic insight into the psychological influence and meanings that colors have..[8] The color Black in color psychology is associated with: "grief, fear, mystery and evil, but it also evokes thoughts of simplicity, tradition and sophistication."[8] I find it self evident that the fascination with the color black among witches and goths also ties in with their fascination with death, power, and secrecy(hiddenness), and the night time(witching hour). Now let's talk about symbolism, and use bats as our first example. The photo I linked you to above: Instagram model LuseryDark, Bat In Background, is the perfect illustration. The bat on her wall is black, and bats are creatures of the night time, the darkness. Symbolism is self explanatory, but also varies among cultures(the symbols define theirselves but differ slightly across the globe culturally). According to the Library Of Congress: "The ancient Greeks associated bats with the underworld and were considered sacred by Persephone, the daughter of Zeus and wife of Hades."[7] Here's a quote from a book on Occult Magic: "Celestina's erotic magic is shown to be successful when she performs a necromantic ritual to conjure Pluto, lord of Hell, with incanations and magical signs written in bat's blood."[13] This alone to me indicates a connection between bats and necromancy(the occult practice of talking to the dead). Because of this, I also find it self evident that bats are associated with coffins. According to NPR: Bats are often found in cities and use cemeteries as their habitat, or to forage for food.[14] "Common bats roost in attics, behind shutters, and in sheltered areas of human dwellings and outbuildings like barns and garages."[15] "In the fall, essentially all these bats leave the roost to hibernate in caves and mines for the winter"[15] Another great indicator of the natural symbolism of bats is in this quote from the Smithsonian Institute(a .edu domain): "Because bats are small, secretive, feed at night, and are unfamiliar to most people, they are sometimes regarded as rare."[16] I want to highlight and emphasize the words "secretive", "night" and "unfamiliar to most people", because this too is a PERFECT description of the nature of the occult, witches, AND HOW SYMBOLISM WORKS. I find it very interesting. It is a perfect illustration too of what I want to illustrate. This is how symbolism works in the natural world, and why the occult gravitates towards certain symbols, bats being one such symbol. Now you know! Aside from the academic interest in colors(color psychology[8], there's also such a thing as the use of colors, and color visualization practices in witchcraft(wicca)![9][10][11][12] Here's a link to a YouTube video of a real modern witch discussing how she uses colors in her wiccan(witchcraft) practices: https://youtu.be/h9z2L0Fsg9k?si=cgAXyGG5ab9ufgno
History Of Goth Culture, The Witch Connection, And The Mysterious Origins Behind Them: I personally believe that the modern culture(at its true roots) of what we call "Goths", or "Gothic" came from Mesopotamia(Europe specifically), and is directly associated with the secretive culture that I believe arose from the act of Eve eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge(ye shall surely die).[Remember this!] I'll explain more in this paragraph, be patient. Gothic chicks tend to be witches(observation), and seem to gravitate towards themes centered around death like: bats, coffins, cemeteries, etc. There are lots of reasons that I believe there's a connection between the modern gothic culture(and witchcraft), and the ancient Germanic Goths from the days of ancient Rome, one being that they came to kill, steal, and destroy. Another reason why I see a connection is because I'm also considering the fact that a deadly hallucinogen used by witches to talk to the dead grows wild in Mesopotamia(called Bella-donna), and is traced back to European witchcraft[x][x], and Mesopotamia is also where these Germanic goths originated, as did the authors of and the original stories of the bible. Remember what you've learned on this website because occult secret societies are all obsessed with death symbolism! I'm also drawing a connection on their actions, as they were ruthless, sneaky, warriors, and they did not come in peace(they were offensive monsters). When you look at all of it as a whole, the modern goth culture and their themes of death, their behavior towards outsiders, the deadly fruit linked to European witchcraft, the fact that it grow in Mesopotamia(where the ancient Germanic Goths originated), and the secretive nature of secret societies, it looks like the modern Gothic subculture at its core is heavily influenced from European/Mesopotamian origins. Not all goths are caucasions, but I feel like goth culture originated from Europe. While I was digging through information learning about the ancient Goths, I noticed what looks like slithery covert warfare to me. You be the judge. The story of the Goths begins when the ancient Roman empire was expanding, and it faced raids and invasions from the semi-nomatic populations along its borders.[17][18] One of the most powerful were a Germanic people known as Goths, who were composed of two tribal groups, the [visigoths and ostrigoths](spell check).[17][18] During this era, some of the Germanic tribes remained enemies of the roman empire, while others were foolishly incorporated into the emperial army.[17][18] This began the unfortunate era of the Roman empire being divided![17][18] Notice that we see a divide and conquer strategy taking place(warfare discernment). These tribal armies had a huge impact in the defense and internal power structure of the Roman empire.[17][18] In the 5th century, the western empire would never be united again.[17][18] Its dominions were further divided into kingdoms ruled by Goths and other Germanic tribes, who assimilated in to local cultures.[17][18] This marked the end of the classical period and the beginning of what many called the dark ages.[17][18] Despite the fact that Roman culture was never fully lost, its influence declined and new art styles arose, which were more focused on religius symbolism(ie wiccan/goth culture!).[17][18] Not all modern "goths" are witches, but I'm observing a clear connection between the two(most Goths(modern goths) ARE WITCHES). I see a direct connection between the two phenomena, and I suspect that the first coven of witches can be traced back to those Germanic Goth people, and the story of Eve eating the fruit, from the book of Genesis. Today, it's never been more popular to be a witch, as wicca and the occult have exploded in the last ten years across the globe. Witches have to have originated from a source though, and this gives credence to my belief. For starters, every bible has a map of Mesopotamia in the back of it, because it is where all life on earth used to be concentrated.[x] "Today, we are accustomed to thinking of them as a Germanic people. We have a good knowledge of their language, and we know it belonged to the subfamily of Indo-European languages that specialists classify as Germanic."[17] The book goes on to give more details: "The Goths, who were tall and blonde or red-haired, physically resembled the Germans. The characteristics the two groups shared were all negative in Roman eyes; the dominant race in the Roman world, the race that believed it possessed a superior civilization and regarded all other races with contempt, was composed of short, dark Mediteranean types, and being tall and blond was a mark of inferiority, of poverty, or barbarism."[17] This is interesting. The Goths were horsemen, livestock breeders and shepherds, as well as farmers.[17] They were survivalist, and the fact that they were also farmers to me is interesting because farming is connected to plants, drugs, medicine, witchcraft, and modern goth culture emphasizes on death related sybmolism, like coffins, bats, which again reminds me of the deadly fruit of Bella-donna, a plant tied to European witchcraft. I believe it is the fruit of the tree of knowledge from Genesis 3. "On the battlefield at Adrianople, the Romans found themselves facing not so much an army of barbarian invaders, as an entire people, the Goths, who had been seeking admission into the empire. The Goths were one of the major barbarian peoples; just one generation later, under their leader Alaric, they would go so far as to subject Rome itself, the capital of the world, to the famous sack of AD 410, a symbolic date in the history of the empire's collapse under the pressure of the invasions."[17] The sack of AD 410 was an attack by the Visigoths , led by King Alaric, where they attacked and looted Rome for three days.[19][20][21] I want to leave you with one last thing to contemplate.
