Notice: No, you won't get high drinking a tea made from it(at least not a simple one), or eating it. That would require illegal activity, equipment, that sorta thing, or some sort of knowledgable culinary method. It could probably be mixed with an MAOI(that almost always works). It can produce a very subtle sensation on its own in simple tea form, but no more than green tea. MDA is slightly soluble in water and readily soluble in alcohol, benzene, and ether.[source] It depends also upon the freshness of the plant material, and how much rich safrole is in it. Different specimens can contain drastically different percentages of phytochemical constituents. I know this from reading lots of journals on different plants, written by scholars. This is the reason people prefer Mimosa hostilis over many other DMT containing plants, because much like Hemp vs Marijuana, large quantities of a constituent, vs trace amounts, can make it worthwhile, or not worth much at all.


Legal in the USA? YES, despite the fact that it is yet one of hundreds of precursors or carriers of a controlled-substance.[1][2][3] It's bizarre too that MDMA has been shown to be very effective in a clinical therapeutic setting, much more so than other psychiatric drugs, and yet they banned it. I'm against synthetic drugs, and believe that MDA would be a much better medicinal alternative, but still, because it is derived from sassafrass, and given the miraculous results of controlled clinical studies, it is proven to be much more effective and safer when used properly in proper dosages, than the vast majority of other diabolical pharmaceutical prescription drugs. The truth is the best medicines are controlled, or out-lawed. I'm absolutely against prohibition of plants and most drugs, even if they are "bad". Police should go after crime, not people using substances.

Properties/Medicinal Benefits: Infusions made from the bark of the roots were taken internally as a preventive to ward off fever, as well as a remedy to treat diarrhea, rheumatism, measles, and scarlet fever[6] A decoction of the root was used for detox or purifying the blood(much like Echinacea)[6] Infusions(mixtures with other plants) were used for colds and flu.[6] We know from science that toxcicity/medical benefits mostly depends on dosage.


Works well with: Passion flower, Banisteriopsis caapi, or syrian rue(or by itself), all three of which are MAOI's that help other psychoactive substances digest, and enhance their properties and intensity. Those three plants contain harmala and harmaline, which give them the MAOI properties. MAOI's should not be combined carelessly with other drugs, especially prescription drugs, because that can be dangerous. It also works good with any other similar psychoactive that synergizes well. Sassafras is only mildly psychoactive without any chemical intervention. It's legal, but the FDA won't allow(haha) it to be sold in anything marketed for human consumption. It is legally sold however. McGuires Irish Pub in Pensacola is selling Sassafrass rootbeer, and it is delicious. On that note, I'm against discrimination and favortism. There can't be one without the other.


Phytochemicals: MDA;[2][3] Safrole;[2][3] Thujone; Thujone also exist in Wormwood.

All of these are documented on academic databases like PubChem and Google Scholar. I link to them at the bottom of every page. Note: This is not all of them that exist within the plant, and I never claim to cover every one of them. I try to get as many as possible listed though.


Warnings: There's big debate going around regarding whether or not Safrole is "carcenogenic"; Safrole is the chemical 4-allyl-1,2-methylenedioxy-benzene[5] Anyway, some suggest that this claim is faulty science, as isolated safrole was used in rats, and no human trials were conducted. Dosage of a substance can effect its nature(poison/medicine) [Sharma, Rajneesh Kumar. "Arndt Schultz Law and Its Applications."] I'm not the only one who really doesn't believe this. Sassafras has been safely used for as long as anyone can remember. There's never been any deaths associated with it, and traditional cultures never really documented any adverse effects related to its use. I found a cancer institute which tends to covertly agree: "However, despite potential apoptotic and cytotoxic effects, data indicates that safrole is "Reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen""(Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center) "Reasonably", implies uncertainty.


Critical Facts: The way pharmaceutical companies "make" medicine is wierd. They don't believe in God(most of them anyway) most likely, so they probably don't really believe that creation is more well designed than they could make it.. This means they want to make(create) their own drugs, rather than collect(isolate,freebase) what God has already made ( MDA, THC, CBD, etc ) They're making drugs in the likeness of that which is in the earth beneath.(see Exodus 20:4, idolatry warning) Drugs exist naturally within plants, as designed by the Most High. They produce something called phytochemicals, and any given plant can have hundreds of these phytochemicals in them. Each chemical has a wide range of pharmacological properties. This means that remedies used by indiginous cultures for centuries holds the secrets to modern medicine and pharmacology, period. They could isolate(or freebase out, each component of the plant, each individual phytochemical, and then make those available to the public over the counter or by prescription), but they won't. You can buy certain things though(isolates), like for example you can buy pure piperine, which is a phytochemical that exist naturally in black pepper, and cbd isolate, pure caffeine, etc, even melatonin. You're better off just buying herbal supplements and isolated chemicals from plants than taking wierd pharmaceuticals that are not natural, and completely lab made scientific creations, engineered in connection with the serpents all over medical symbolism, as tied in with the false pagan gods associated with modern medical. With phytochemicals and herbal remedies, at least you know where your medicine came from, and tha God is the author of it.


Preparations: You should know that: "It is unlawful for any person knowingly or intentionally to possess or distribute safrole"(source[.gov]) It is perfectly legal to buy dried sassafras bark however, and live plants(and grow them), and seeds, etc, and it is readily available across the country in different herbal shops. It just can't be sold in a form that is potent and would induce a pleasant euphoria.


Quick investigative note: It seems to me that pagan cults and freemasons especially, are into making drugs from these. I believe that is why hundreds of barely legal plants that contain controlled substances are allowed to remain legal. It is very unusual for the government to not ban something. I think it is also why corrupt government officials seem to target individuals who state these facts. Facts are not facts however. The fact that they only go after people who state these facts, indicates they want to keep it quiet. The keeping it quiet aspects indicates a reason behind that, and that brings us to the sound conclusion it is because it fuels the underground drug trade. You can't make MDMDA arrest without making it possible to produce. You can't make Marijuana arrest by banning seeds, and seizing all imports. It's a game they play. I can promise you there are crooked neo nazi, freemason, and other crime cults in government, and in medical, and they're making illegal drugs and distributing them. The SRCSO in NW Florida is involved in this very thing, as is the "odin brotherhood" that resides here. They're selling stolen kratom that belonged to Edens Ethnobotanicals. Ethnobotanical Rundown: Sassafras is most well known for its original use in root beer. The FDA doesn't allow this anymore, even though mcquires Irish pub in Pensacola is allowed to use it in their root beer. Not that I want to cause them problems, but I am merely pointing it out, though I digress. It was used as a main ingredient in the OG root beers, because it gave it a psychoactive punch, and the flavor. I imagine it was fermented, and had some alcoholic kick to it, because alcohol will actually dissolve the MDA into the beverage. I bet a fermented root beer made at home from the bark would be fantastic. All parts of the plant that I am aware of other than the seeds have been used in medicine. The leaves are used, and are beautiful, with a very unique shape.
