Not only is herbal medicine actually backed by science(phytochemistry to be exact), but the notion that your food is medicine, is also backed by this academic field of study. It was Hippocrates that once said, "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food". On this blog I want to share with you some interesting scientific facts that you didn't know about the foods that you eat! I back everything up with academic sources and hope to better your health by informing you with life changing knowledge that you can use to your advantage. I want everyone to understand that the food you eat is medicine, and has pharmacological properties. If the food is tainted(spiked with toxic/poisonous additives), then it's possible that it could have produce negative side effects when interacting with your body.

Ezekial 47:12 "And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine."

I support the Non GMO Project, and you should too. If you don't know what Genetically Engineered Foods are you should, they're diabolical and an abomination. I worry about the future of ethnobotanical genetics, and health. I pray for the return of Christ. Things are really bad. The serpent is corrupting, and stealing, and rigging.

To help you in your quest to learn about food, herbs, and their pharmacology, here is a link to a List Of Medical Terms And Their Definitions. It also list different plants, herbs, vitamins, and minerals, as well as phytochemicals, which have those specified pharmacological properites. It's a work in progress, so expect it to evolve as this website evolves. Folllow me, and learn with me. I cite credible authoritative sources from scholarly institutions.

This is corporate pharmakeia that you need to avoid. Also note that producers will often times find ways to hide the names, or label them under a different name, or find some way to cheat and not list them at all. Corporations are sneaky, and I want to encourage everyone to strive for independence, provide a service for your community, and grow your own food and herbs! Fast, eat less not more, and abide in God, as well as serve him. Amen. See also: Pharmakos(medical murder in ancient Greece)[23]

Click the toxic food additive substance or poison you want to read about to be jumped down the page to the corresponding section for ease of surfing. [MSG], [Proplyene glycol], [GMO], [Dextrose], [Silicon Dioxide], [Red 40], [Fluoride], [High Fructose Corn Syrup][Aluminum], [Sugar], ['Natural Flavors']

MSG or Monosodium glutimate, is a neuro-toxin that's used as a food additive.[6] It kills brain cells and causes a lot of adverse effects in humans.[7][8] It's put in Taco Bell seasoning packets, Doritoz, and other common junk food items. It causes migraine headaches in most people.[5]

Proplyene glycol is a neuro-toxin that's being added to vapes and certain hemp products. It causes brain fog long term. Proplyene glycol kills brain cells and suppresses the central nervous system[9], resulting in brain fog. See for yourself from the National Institute Of Health: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3366500/

GMO stands for Genetically Modified Organism. Another phrase used to describe the same diabolical phenomena is "Genetically Engineered". GMO food is produced when the genetics of whichever crop that's being modified, has been altered in a lab by scientist in a way that is NOT the way that God intended.[10] GMO's have been known to cause adverse effects, and are even illegal in some countries because of their toxic nature.[10] They're not the same thing as a hybrid either, as hybrids are produced sexually, and GMO's are produced by mad scientist in a lab.

Dextrose is very bad stuff. It's not as natural as people think. One academic source states that "Dextrose is produced by enzyme hydrolysis of starch (e.g., from corn) or cellulose (e.g., from woody biomass)."[26] It's a type of sugar, known as glucose.[13] It raises blood sugar levels.[14] It's found in a lot of processed foods, frozen stuff, candy , etc.

Silicon dioxide is a terrible food additive. Don't buy fortune 500 brand spices from Walmart. Get your spices for cooking from a shop like Mountain Rose Herbs or something of the like, or Herbco.com because the crap sold at Walmart often adds Silicon dioxide in their chili power mixes. One academic source states that both Silicon dioxide and titanium dioxide have been found to acculate in the body, and have been found in tissues.[25] I've noticed that everytime I used a crappy brand of paprika or chilli powder, that it always had "silicon dioxide" on the ingredients label, and it always made me feel bad afterwards. Test this yourself. If you want quality spices for your kitchen, you won't find them at Walmart. They're far too socialist of an organization for me. The economy is under attack, so shop wisely as it is like voting. Vote for those who do good for the world and oppose socialist agendas.

Red 40 is a slang name for a product that is made from petroleum and coal tar.[15] It's used as a common food additive and was approved by the FDA. A lot of people think that becuase the FDA approves something that this makes it safe, however that is not the case. The FDA approves toxic, deadly, and poisonous additives and drugs all the time. A scholarly source that I cite states that "all of the nine currently US-approved dyes raise health concerns of varying degrees"[15] We know that Red 3 causes cancer in animals, and that there's scientific evidence that other FDA approved dyes are also carcinogenic.[15] Bottom line, the public is being covertly poisoned, and this is what the bible calls "Pharmakeia". These chemicals are also known to be genotoxic.[15] "Genotoxicity is the property of chemical agents that damage the genetic information within a cell causing mutations, which may lead to cancer."[16] Credible authoritative sources confirm for us that Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6 have been found to be contaminated with benzidine and/or other carcinogens.[15] According to Cancer.gov, "Benzidine is a manufactured chemical that does not occur in nature." If it doesn't exist in nature, then God doesn't want it in your body.

This is why I suggest you grow your own non-gmo garden, and only buy raw ingredients to prepare your meals with. Don't let fortune 500 companies prepare meals for you, because they slip in toxic additives like these. Everything that you eat has pharmacological implications, so knowing what it is that makes you feel bad that's being put in your food supply is a critical step to feeling better in your day to day life. Free yourself from toxic side effects today by dropping corporate pharmakeia from your diet and lifestyle for good.

Right now, Fluoride, and Proplyene glycol are the biggest weapons of the serpent, and Scopolamine. Despite the fact that you hear Alex Jones saying this, it is still true. That doesn't mean everything he says is true(most of it is B.S.). Here's what the academic sources say on Fluoride: The science shows us that fluoride is linked to lower IQ levels(it makes people dumb and I suspect they're putting it in pharmaceuticals too).[18][19][20][21] UPDATE!: I've found academic sources that confirm my suspecions, and yes they DO PUT FLUORIDE IN PHARMACEUTICALS! I now have proof that pharma's make you dumb(I knew that because I could see it). Here's the National Institute Of Health Link: https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Fluoride-HealthProfessional/ and here's a quote from that source: "Some prescription medications contain fluoride, but not as the active ingredient." There you have it, pharma's make you stupid.

Here are some direct quotes from academic sources to confirm that fluoride does lower IQ(it literally makes people stupid): "Findings In this prospective birth cohort study, fluoride exposure during pregnancy was associated with lower IQ scores in children aged 3 to 4 years."[19] "Fluoride exposure during pregnancy may be associated with adverse effects on child intellectual development, indicating the possible need to reduce fluoride intake during pregnancy."[19] Perhaps one of the most alarming facts related to it is: "Fluoride crosses the placenta, and laboratory studies show that it accumulates in brain regions involved in learning and memory and alters proteins and neurotransmitters in the central nervous system."[19]

What they're doing is called pharmakeia, and it is mentioned in the bible at: Revelation 18:23 "And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived." The light that it speaks of is Gods presence and his word, as they manipulate your pineal gland, and poison your body, and make it hard for you to hear and see spiritually.(third eye blind). Pharmakeia(sorceries) is a type of witchcraft(warfare) that makes use of drugs and poisons, in order to control, dominate, manipulate, dumb down, or decieve(even as a truth serum in some cases), or to influence, even kill... You'll find sources to back this up all throughout this website. They're targeting the pineal gland and the rest of the mind to keep you complacent, and stupid, and spiritually blind. Here is what the science has to say on the pineal gland and its connection to our health: "An intact and functional pineal gland is necessary for preserving optimal human health"[22] More reasons to avoid neurotoxins and pineal calcifications: "Pineal calcification jeopardizes melatonin’s synthetic capacity and is associated with a variety of neuronal diseases"[22] Here is a good reason for you to thin up: "The pineal gland of obese individuals is usually significantly smaller than that in a lean subject"[22]

"High fructose corn syrup is a liquid alternative sweetener to sucrose that is made from corn, the "king of crops" using chemicals (caustic soda, hydrochloric acid), and enzymes like a-amylase and glucoamylase), to hydrolyze corn starch to corn syrup containing mostly glucose and a third enzyme(glucose isomerase) to isomerize glucose in corn syrup to fructose which yeilds High Fructose Corn Syrup."[24] Right off the bat this information proves to us that High Fructose Corn Syrup is not natural, even though it has "corn" in the name, it is deceptive and synthetic. What is it doing to our body long term though? Just as a single cigarette doesn't kill you, a single dose of HFCS likely isn't that damaging, but what's it doing pharmacologically? One academic source shockingly states that: "The increase in HFCS consumption in the U.S. has coincided with the increase in incidence of obesity, diabetes, and other cardiovascular diseases and metabolic syndromes."[24] So they're making people fat, and remember what the science says about obesity and its effects on the pineal gland, and how it is damaging(I cite and quote that above: here

One academic source states boldly that: "Glyphosate and Aluminum can synergistically induce pineal gland pathology, and share a connection to gut dysbiosis and neurological disease".[27] The scholarly source on aluminum and glyphosate that I just quoted, goes on to give us even more details into how these substance work on our biology, stating that: "Glyphosate chelates aluminum, allowing ingested aluminum to bypass the gut barrier. This leads to anemia-induced hypoxia, promoting neurotoxicity and damaging the pineal gland. Both glyphosate and aluminum disrupt cytochrome P450 enzymes, which are involved in melatonin metabolism."[27] This got me thinking on whether or not the aluminum that people use in the kitchen, is getting into their food somehow? To answer this question, I did some scholarly digging, and found another academic source on the subject, and it states that: "The possible health risks to human beings resulting from uptake of aluminum include detrimental effects to the hemopoietic system, the nervous system and bones. Aluminum is used in many fields and occurs in numerous foodstuffs."[30] Aluminum is bad for your pineal gland! All the more reason to make use of cilantro in your daily diet to remove those heavy metals from your body and keep them out of your blood stream![?] PubMed gives us a solid answer to the question: "The study clearly showed the occurrence of aluminum contamination of food when it is prepared by baking in aluminum foil."[28] Switch to glass pans, etc.

As far as Glyphosate goes, it too can be found in foods.. According to the CDC: "An estimated 81% of the U.S. population has had recent exposure to glyphosate, a chemical found in some weed killers, according to a new study, "Exposure to glyphosate in the United States: Data from the 2013–2014 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey"[27] https://www.cdc.gov/biomonitoring/featured-work/diet-is-a-factor-in-contact-with-glyphosate.html Here is some more shocking statements from the CDC on thie subject: "Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum, systemic herbicide and the active ingredient in glyphosate-based herbicides (GBHs). Since their introduction in the late 1970s, the volume of GBHs for weed control in the United States has grown about 100-fold. Studies conducted in the United States and other geographical regions, including Europe, have reported similar levels of glyphosate in human urine samples."[27] This is just one more reason to grow your own fruit(and make sure that they're NON-GMO!!), and to support local farmers and growers, and people who are anti-socialist af. They have a million ways to wage covert pharmakeia warfare on the population, so you must be as wise as a serpent.

Sugar comes in many forms, and most of it that's being consumed today is not the natural kind. There's a wide variety of fake synthetic sugars being put into "food" today, including glucose, corn syrups, sucralose, and even carcinogenic fake sweeteners. "There is some evidence that an obesity-promoting diet alters the electrophysiological properties of neurons, reduces the density of synaptic inputs, induces gliosis and impairs insulin signalling in hypothalamic neurons controlling energy balance (Horvath et al. 2010)."[29] This is basically describing mental impairment, and an interference with insulin signalling. It makes sense, because this is right on board with my own observations of feeling impaired, sluggish, and not of optimal cognitive performance after binging on sugar and junk food. This is why I try to fast these days, and only eat when necessary and try to avoid eating for pleasure, most of the time anyway. One scholarly source tells us that: Insulin's action in the brain is critical for whole body homeostasis.[31] FYI: Homeostasis is: "Homeostasis is any self-regulating process by which an organism tends to maintain stability while adjusting to conditions that are best for its survival. "[32] The academic source goes on to give us a more complete understanding of how these mechanisms work, stating that: "The hypothalamus is a key region of the brain that responds to circulating insulin by engaging a complex signaling cascade resulting in the ultimate release of neuropeptides that control hunger and feeding. Disruption of this important feedback system can lead to a phenomenon called cellular insulin resistance, where the neurones cease to sense insulin."[31] It's basically telling us that over-eating, obesity, and over-consumption of sugar, causes cognitive impairment, and disrupts the insulin system... A broken insulin system is called Diabetes.[33] Diabetes is when your body can't produce its own insulin like it is supposed to.[33] This is why abusing food, sugar, or not being mindful of what you put into your body is very dangerous. I encourage everyone to gain knowledge and take your health back. You may be interested to know that there's a plant called the Insulin plant(Chamaecostus cuspidatus)

"Natural flavors" may sound like an innocent catch phrase, because of the word "natural", but the bottom line is that the manufacturer doesn't want you to know what those ingredients are... Secrets don't make friends. I did some scholarly digging to shed some light on the subject, and found a scholarly source that states: "While many consumers believe Natural foods are healthier, heavy reliance on that assumption is misguided, as "Natural" has no formal legal definition--it's merely defined pursuant to an FDA approved informal policy."[34] We know from experience that the FDA are a bunch of socialist sorcerers, as they have approved such deadly drugs/poisons(weapons) as Scopolamine, Fentanyl, Roxycontin, Xanax, and neurotoxic Proplyene Glycol, that's being put in pharmaceuticals, hemp products, topical products like ointments, etc, and they're hiding it on the ingredients list in hemp products now! The FDA is a socialist organization, and they were founded in 1906.[!] America was founded in 1776, and we had legal opium and legal marijuana all the way up until 1937.[37][38] Here is the same company on the internet archives for further proof(they are now hiding that ingredient). I suspect that "proplyene glycol" is being hidden under natural flavors now, as well as MSG. Here's an official .gov document that tells us what the government considers "natural flavors": https://www.ams.usda.gov/sites/default/files/media/NOP-PM-11-1-NaturalFlavors.pdf Another scholarly source tells us bluntly that: "In reality, “natural flavors” are a far cry from what consumers might expect, as they can contain both artificial and synthetic chemicals (often used as processing aids). Nonetheless, without a legally binding Natural regulation, there has been little opportunity to contest the naturalness of natural flavors in the past."[36]

Vitamins A, D, E, and K are all fat soluble.[1]

Vitamin A is an easier way to refer to a chemical that we would probably not have fun trying to remember, which is β-ionone.[1] Vitamin A is scientifically referred to as such, but it is also called retinol[2] It's readily absorbed by the intestines, and our bodies store Vitamin A in tissues, especially of the liver.[1]

Vitamin A promotes: vision, growth, and tissue differentiation.[1]

Deficiency symptoms for Vitamin A: nyctalopia(night blindness), xerophthalmia, hyperkeratosis of the skin, growth retardation, and decreased resistance to infection.[1]

Good dietary sources for Vitamin A include: animal organs, eggs, dairy products, fish.[1] Believe it or not, Vitamin A "activity", as the source puts it, is also derived from something called carotenoids which occur in plants, such as carrots and green leafy vegetables.[1]

Botanicals high in Vitamin A include:

"Vitamin D" is a simple way of referring to several related steroids and their metabolites.[1] It's essential for the absorption and utilization of calcium.[1] Vitamin D is also known as Cholecalciferol.[1] It's stored in liver and skin.[1]

Vitamin D promotes:"Vitamin D is critically important for the development, growth, and maintenance of a healthy skeleton from birth until death. The major function of vitamin D is to maintain calcium homeostasis."[11] Because this vitamin is good for your bones, and your immune system, it's something you want to consider when it comes to your teeth health, especially if you have chronic cavities and infections.

Vitamin D deficiency symptoms:

Good dietary sources for Vitamin D: Mushrooms, Eggs, Fish[1]

Herbal sources for Vitamin D: Mushrooms are not a herb, but close enough!. They're considered a super food all around, and a rich source of Vitamin D![1]

"Vitamin E" is a general label for multiple different forms of alpha-tocopherol, which includes the dextrorotary isomer, the racemic mixture, and their acetate and acid succinate esters.[1] If you're like me, then you want to know: what are dextrorotary isomers?, and what are racemix mixtures?, and what are acetate and acid succinate esters?. Just click the questions for their answers, as they open in a new window. Fact: "Vitamin E requires bile salts and dietary lipids for efficient absorption from the intestinal tract."[1] This is good information to know, because it can assist an herbalist into better preparing their apothecary(their medicines). What are bile salts and dietary lipids? Bile salts are: "Bile salts are water-soluble, amphipathic end-metabolites of cholesterol that facilitate intestinal absorption of lipids, exert potent antimicrobial activity in the small intestine, and enhance proteolytic cleavage of dietary proteins"[39](Hofmann and Hagey, 2008).

Vitamin E Promotes: It's an anti-oxidant, and it protects cells.[1]

Vitamin E deficiency symptoms: This is a really interesting fact that you're going to learn. "The stored vitamin E in normal situations represents up to 4 years' requirements. Thus, it is not surprising that no defined adult deficiency state is known for Vitamin E."[1] The book goes on to state that severe dificiency states can be induced experimentally in animals however.[1] This would explain why you don't hear a lot about Vitamin E, at all... It doesn't seem to be a problem, and deficiency is literally unheard of.

Good dietary sources for Vitamin E: plant oils, green vegetables, whole grains, egg yolks, wheat germ oil, and meats.[1] Plant seeds and nuts, sunflower seeds, almonds, and hazelnuts, as well as vegetable oils like olive oil and sunflower oil, tomatoes, avocados, spinach, asparagus, Swiss chard, and broccoli.[40]

Herbal sources for Vitamin E: ? I will update this segment eventually.

Magnesium can treat headaches sometimes, but it depends. Here's a quote from one academic source on the subject: "Magnesium is efficacious in relieving headaches"[3] It also has an impact on mood[4], believe it or not! People underestimate the importance of magnesium in their diet.

According to the National Library Of Medicine, "Iron is an essential element for almost all living organisms as it participates in a wide variety of metabolic processes, including oxygen transport, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) synthesis, and electron transport."[17] Despite the fact that certain amounts of iron are beneficial, higher concentration in body tissues can lead to tissue damage.[17] With this in mind, it's important to not over-do it with supplements, or even food for that matter. "Since iron is required for a number of diverse cellular functions, a constant balance between iron uptake, transport, storage, and utilization is required to maintain iron homeostasis."[17] The best source for your vitamins and minerals is food.. no doubt. not pharmaceutical pills called "vitamins". Buy your spices from Mountain Rose Herbs, Herbco, or somewhere online, not Walmart. Use all search engines too to be fair, and buy from foreign countries too! Avoid fortune-500 run places. Support the oppressed! Combat the fortune-500 socialist takeover by treating your shopping like it is voting!
