Ezekiel 47:12 "And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine."

Nicknames: Myrrh;[1]

Plant Family: Myrrh is harvested from a number of plants: Commiphora myrrha, Commiphora africana, Commiphora erythraea, Commiphora gileadensis, Commiphora habessinica, Commiphora hodai, Commiphora guardricincta, Commiphora schimperi and Commiphora truncata.[1]

Ethnobotany: In regards to Myrrh and its cultural and industrial importance, I want to quote straight from a scholarly source. Myrrh is: "an important natural plant product used in several industries that include pharmacology, food, flavour, liqueur and beverage, cosmetics, perfumery and others."[2] I hate how most of modern society seems to lack an understanding of how important these ethnobotanicals are. Ethnobotany is an important academic field of study that ties in with the discovery of new medicines. The ethnobotanical industry(though cut throat and full of cheaters selling stolen product), is an important and critical industry, because it is crucial for industry, and scientific research. Myrrh is also mentioned in the bible. It was one of the gifts brought to baby Jesus by the Three Wise Men, who brought with them Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh. In Exodus 30:22-30:29 Moses mixes Myrrh with some other ingredient to create a holy anointing oil. How the bible describes Moses, is like a Christian version of a wizard. He knew about Botanicals, and used them regularly. He also burned Frankincense in his tabernacle. It's been used in religious ceremonies by many walks of life sense the beginning.[8]

Natural Habitat: Myrrh can be found growing in south Arabia, the northeastern part of Africa, Somalia, and Kenya.[3] It also grows in India, and South America

Mixes well with: Frankincense, Poppy seed, Kratom, Opium Lettuce.

OG Observations: Myrrh to me produces the pain relief of an opioid without the high or addictive potential. It has a bitter taste, but a nice smell when burned. The essential oils can be diffused, but a much safer and healther alternative to things like scented candles, which are mostly made with toxic synthetic ingredients such as aritifical aromaitcs, in the form of toxic chemicals. The benefits to diffusing a natural incense is the ability to dodge these fake and toxic products being sold. A do it yourself entrepaneur who likes to make their own products, can easily make something better than the big corporartions that sell their toxic fake scented candles made with known carcenogenic ingredients.

What is Phytochemistry? What are Phytochemicals? Phytochemistry is the study of the pharmacology of plants. Phytochemist isolate the phytochemical constituents of herbal remedies, and study them to see what their medicinal properties are. A lot of the worlds best medicine is nothing more than an isolated chemical from a plant, like CBD, THC, Morphine, Melatonin, Caffeine, etc. I will let the scholars tell it like it is when I quote this academic source: "Medicinal plants are the primary sources of new drugs globally."[5] There are two types of drugs ultimately, God-made drugs(plants and their phytochemical isolates), and Man-made drugs, which are made in the likeness of phytochemicals that are isolated from plants in the lab. The drug companies alter the chemistry of these natural drugs to create knock-offs(like how fentanyl is not a naturally occurring substance, whereas morphine is a naturally occurring drug).

Phytochemicals: terpenoids (monoterpenoids, sesquiterpenoids, and volatile/essential oil), diterpenoids, triterpenoids, and steroids.[3] The essential oils that Myrrh produces have applications in cosmetics, aromatherapy, and perfumery.[3] It also produces something called lignans, and its epimer picropolygamain.[5] Myrrh essential oils produce the following: Nine sesquiterpene hydrocarbons, elemol a sesquiterpene alcohol furanosesquiterpenoids furanodiene, furanodienone, isofuranogermacrene, curzerenone and lindestrene[7] Its volatile oils also produce: Cuminic aldehyde, eugenol, metacresol, pinene, limonene, diterpenes and two sesquiterpenes.[7] These are pharmacological chemicals produced by the plant. Phytochemical isolates, and herbal preparations are the only real medicine on earth. Once you begin to alter the chemical from its original structure, or make fake drugs in the likeness of the real ones that God made, things start to become dangerous. Serpent medical is feeding the masses toxic versions of drugs that are made in the likeness of naturally recurring chemical components of medicinal plants. The best medicine on earth is being stolen from the masses, while occult groups seek to steal it all for theirselves. Freemasons are into alchemy, which is the occult version of chemistry(making drugs)[6], and they are perhaps the biggest threat to global health, wellness, and freedom, as well as the W.H.O., as well as the U.N.

Pharmacological / Medicinal Properties: Myrrh has been used in traditional medicine for: treating wounds, mouth ulcers, aches, fractures, stomach disorders, microbial infections, and inflammatory diseases.[3] Myrrh has the following pharmacological properties: antiseptic, astringent, anthelmintic, carminative, emmenagogue, and as an expectorant.[3] Some rather remarkable findings have been found via one scholarly study which states: "Research has shown that it exerts various biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-microbial, neuroprotective, anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, analgesic, anti-parasitic, and recently, it was found to work against respiratory infections like COVID-19"[3] Other medicinal applications include: for pain, skin infections, inflammatory conditions, diarrhea, and periodontal diseases.[4] Modern research shows it has anesthetic, and antitumor properties as well.[4] Other academic sources state that Myrrh has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, antioxidant, antimicrobial, hepatoprotective, anti-ulcer, and antiviral properties.[5] "liver diseases, gastrointestinal disorder, urinary tract infections, rheumatism, scurvy and jaundice"[7]

Non-Narcotic Opioid: Many people do not know this, but Myrrh is a non-narcotic opioid.[9] "Before the discovery of morphine, myrrh was a common analgesic. Dorala found that the sesquiterpene components of myrrh, furunesin-1, 3-diene and curcumene, can act on opioid receptors in the central nervous system and have analgesic activity, and their effects can be blocked by the morphine-antagonist naloxone. It is believed that the potent analgesic effect of myrrh extract may act on opioid receptors in the brain like morphine, but without the side effects of morphine dependence"[9] Ancient Egyptians added Myrrh to wine, possibly for this purpose.[9]

Related Ethnobotanicals: Kola Nut(Cola nitida), Tobacco, Chamomile, Frankincense(Boswelia), Olmedioperebea sclerophylla, Cowage(Mucuna pruriens), Lemon Balm(Melissa officinalis)
